Network Systems (EC) Ltd was founded from a company called Satellite Systems. Due to high volume computing and networking the company changed to Network Systems in November of the first year. Today, LRS still uses the NSL brand for IT and other technologies from companies like Ioline from Seattle, USA.
Since around 1993 the company has used a trading name of Phonesavers to supply and sell business mobile phones to our clients. Because the technology is being used more and more in everyday life in other equipment that Long Range Systems UK sells we have continued to expand the mobile business.
mscable.com was created in 2000 when Network Systems decided to offer a complete hosting solution for business clients. We updated the name to mscloudnet.com some while ago, but most of the hosting services remain on offer through the mscable.com website.
In 2000 our MD visited Long Range Systems of Dallas USA and agreed to work with LRS as the very first office outside of the USA to sell and support LRS equipment. The office was opened in January 2001 and remains open to this day. We supply literally thousands of customers with paging equipment and we support all sales from the UK office for the UK. Interestingly, LRS UK has achieved office of the year at least five times for their incredible service and support.
